ARTIST BIO

Now established as one of Melbourne's most original and capable street artists, Conrad Bizjak also has a thriving studio practice. Constantly experimenting with different mediums, styles and mark-making techniques - his work balances a deep understanding of art history and a desire to push towards his own distinct artistic identity.

Blending the observational with the surreal, social commentary with personal exploration, his fine art paintings are underpinned with a powerful illustrative ability lending them solid figurative foundations. From this base, he has the freedom to abstract, manipulate and build landscapes of pigment to discover paintings that could have come from no other hand, except his own.
